For the love of creating!
One of my favorite things to do is to create! I enjoy best to do it without any preplanning. I pick up a drawing tool and draw shapes, lines, play with dark and light shadows or colors and connect everything. Connecting everything together allows me to tell one big story. If I draw something that doesn't feel right to me, I work around it and continue. I don't preplan. At times, I have my daughter draw 1 -3 shapes and build from there. This is why, not one piece is alike.
My inspiration comes from flowers. As a former flower shop owner and floral designer, I lean towards floral like images, plants and arrangements. I love the delicacy and differences within all the shapes.
All the pieces I am showing here are in 9 X 12 sheets in a 11 X 14 glass frame, unless specified. I use markers, pens and acrylic paint.
